Batman 60's Series. When?

Just watching some special on TV about the old, great Adam West show and it got me to thinking....why hasn't this been put out on DVD yet, and are there already plans?

It was a fun, cheezy show that I'd love to collect on DVD.

Anyone know anything?

Because the rights have been fought over between DC comics and Fox for a long time now. Unless they can be resolved, you wont be seeing it anytime soon.

Never. At least until there's a change at the top of DC comics. Non Sport Update (a magazine for non-sport trading cards) had an interview with the head of one of the card companies. Artbox or Rittenhouse, I think. In the interview he was asked about a trading card set based on the 60's Batman show. His response was that he tried to get the license, but DC comcis absolutely refused. Their reason given was that they do not want the fans to think of the Adam West era when they think of Batman, only the Dark Knight. They believed that having both versions out for people would be "confusing" to newer readers.
