Sweet. Independence Day is on yet again

what is this, like 3 tuesdays out of the last 5?
at least it isn't messing with the shield tonight
I realize that since it is a fox movie they probably get to show it for free or really cheap, but come on there have to be other movies they can show

What next? people complain about Twister on TBS? It's the lead in to Shield, they could show static and shield will still get good ratings. So who cares what fills in the gap till 10?

that was shown the other 2 tuesdays from my previous 3 in 5 complaint

I was confirming that the president's daughter was chloe from JAG and found out that Fred Barnes and Mort Kondracke are in this (probably super small cameos on a news broadcast)
at least now I have something to look out for

There are other channels on tv. There's even a basketball game.

Exactly what I was thinking! You know the people who run FX would borrow some other movies from their sister channel FXM and show them instead of the same Michael Bay crap and Independence Day.

F/X can show whatever the heck the want as long as they keep delivering the quality goods like Shield and Nip/Tuck (and possibly Rescue Me, although I have yet to see a full episode, but it looks pretty good).

Thats pretty much all I watch on there anyway. Oh I watch Buffy in the afternoons sometimes if I'm off work.

It didn't pre-empt "The Shield" last night, so no big deal to me.

FX should just stick to what they are good at. The Shield and 6 hour marathons of King of the Hill.

I was going to make a similar comment.

Something wrong with your channel changer? With the OFF button?

As far as I know there's nothing compelling you to watch FX 24 hours a day.

Sure, like Shawshank Redemption or The Outlaw Josey Wales since I never see those on TV.
