New Black Eyed Peas - Monkey Business - 6\7\05
I did a search and couldn't find a thread for this yet. I could have sworn this was supposed to be out at the end of May, but Amazon has a June 7th date. I've loved the 2 songs that I've heard off this soo far. "Don't Phunk With my Heart" has been getting alot of radio play lately and "Pump It" is featured on that Best Buy TV commercial where it uses the beat from that song during the opening credits of Pulp Fiction, which I can't remember for the life of me what it was actualy called.
I liked Elephunk quite a bit, so I'm really interested to hear more.
01. Pump It
02. Don't Phunk With My Heart
03. My Style (Feat. Justin Timberlake)
04. Don't Lie
05. My Humps
06. Like That (Feat. Cee-Lo, John Legend, Talib Kweli & Q-Tip)
07. Dum Diddly
08. Feel It
09. Gone Going (Feat. Jack Johnson)
10. They Don't Want Music (Feat. James Brown)
11. Disco Club
12. Bebot
13. Ba Bump
14. Audio Delite At Low Fidelity
15. Union (Feat. Sting)

Does anyone know if Will.I.Am is getting a bit of LSD? I mean, there are three rappers and a singer, but all I see is Will and Fergie taking up all the video time. Not that I mind as Will is my fav rapper of the three, but damn, give those other dudes some love. Especially on the lead single (which I think is really bad btw). I did really like Elephunk in all it's pop goodness so I'll check this out though.

if you liked Elephunk, this is more of the same. It's got some good beats and a few "party" songs that will be blasting out of cars all summer long. Not bad overall.

Haven't listened to it yet..
Their first two discs were good. Once they added the white chick...meh.

I work at American Eagle and we had a promotion in the store today where we played the whole CD from 1 to 4 PM. I love their first two albums, and Elephunk is alright, but I think the new album is terrible. Everyone else in the store seemed to think so too. To me it sounded like an entire album of "Let's Get Retarded".

I met them at CMJ shortly before their first album dropped. They seemed like nice guys. And their show (with live instruments) was great.
