WB / New Line $4.88 DVDs--WalMart

Love em or hate em, Wal-Mart does it again!

The pallets just hit the stores here so expect them elsewhere in the next several days/week or so if not already out,

Wal Mart cut another one time buy deal and has pallet displays of $4.88 DVDs, mostly from Warner Bros/ New Line. Most are WS or WS/FS flippers unless indicated--

Titles include:
Ace Ventura (FS only)
Devil's Advocate
Eraser
Romeo Must Die
Frequency
Under Siege
Wild Wild West
Lethal Weapon 4 (others also)
Demolition Man
Driven
The Negotiator
The Art of War
Money Talks
Rush Hour 2
U.S. Marshals
Three Amigos

and several others

Does anyone know if Three Amigos is WS or FS or both??? The outside sleeve (HBO) did not say..

Feel free to post the other titles (which I had or didn't want so don't remember) and I started a new thread on this as people for some reason get a little lost in reading through the catch-all $6 bargain bin thread

Enjoy!

Frequency was in a snapper at my local WalMart. I do remember that Rush Hour 2 was in the red keepcase. In addition to the ones listed I saw the first Rush Hour (snapper) and A Time To Kill. Lethal Weapon 2 was the old edition and Lethal Weapon 3 was the Director's Cut. I did not see the first one.

Three Amigos is WS; letterboxed but not anamorphic.

It's a great movie. Buy it. Everybody!

Thanks! I probably would have never known because I hardly ever shop at Walmart. Hopefully they will have copies of Three Amigos and Devil's Advocate. Damn, will Ace Ventura ever be released in Widescreen?

I borrowed it off a friend back when it came out and liked it. May have to pick it up at that price.

I wonder if they are ever going to re-release those Lethal Weapon movies in proper special editions?

May have to finally pick up Rush Hour. I really hope Demolition Man gets the 2-disc treatment like New Jack City recently.

I doubt it...the theatrical versions still have an MSRP of $19.99 so they sell at $14.99 at most stores.

I may pick up The negotiator and Deep Blue Sea for that price. Beats the heck out of enduring the commercials on cable to watch these shows.

They did not have this display at the Martinez Wal-Mart. Has anyone in the SF Bay Area seen it? They did have at Union City last time there was a $4.88 display but I haven't made it there yet this week.

Sweet, I'll check it out next time I go.

And what's this about a new Poltergeist release? I heard about a possible SE a few years ago, but last I heard it was cancelled.

I checked my Wal-mart this evening and there was no sign of the 4.88 DVDs. Maybe they haven't gotten them out yet.

Titles spotted at this sale:

A Time To Kill
Above The Law
Ace Ventura (FS)
Assassins
Deep Blue Sea
Deep Cover
Demolition Man
Devil's Advocate
Driven
Eraser
Exit Wounds
Frequency
Lethal Weapon 2, 3 & 4
Money Talks
Mortal Kmombat: Annihilation
Murder At 1600
Poltergeist
Ricochet
Romeo Must Die
Rush Hour 1 & 2
Set It Off
The Art of War
The Glimmer Man
The Negotiator
Thirteen Ghosts
Three Amigos
Under Siege
U.S. Marshals
Wild Wild West

Decent sale for Wal Mart. This may not be a complete list. I was disappointed that Lethal Weapon I wasn't included. I don't recall seeing Hard Times among the titles. Rush Hour and Rush Hour II were both in keepcases at my WM.
