Now we know the Millenium Falcon made made the kessel run in less than twelve parsecs
but what the heck was Palpatine/Sidious using to get around? Was it just clones or did he have some special ability to travel quickly? This is especially obvious in the last 5 episodes of Clone Wars where he seems to jump from planet to planet, real quick. And it wasn't all hologram appearances either. Seemed to have alot of spare time for the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic.

It was clones. This informative documentary will explain everything.

It has a lot to do with the way the film was edited together that some events seemed to mash up to close together when in reality they were happening at the same time and so forth. So he could have been finishing up the battle with yoda when obi and anakin started fighting. Hyperspace his way over feeling that Anakin was going to have problems or seeing the future in a sense.
