not a bad list of games to pull songs from, I'm hoping one of the spots on their tour is out east. It's a little disappointed not seeing Metroid on the list though. Pong instead of Metroid? Come'on...

laser light shows during an orchestra...heh .

My fiancée picked up tickets for us a while ago. Our one year of being together is on July 5th. I'm really looking forward to this concert, and I'm so glad I'm marrying her.

Great concert. I really liked the variety of music there although I wished they had played some of the Tom Clancy stuff. I also wish I had known that there was going to be a whole lot of other stuff starting earlier in the day. They had a lot of video game designers, creators, and composers there for a meet and greet as well as an old school arcade set up. Maybe if I had clicked on the link above I would have known.

Anyways, I love my fiancée for taking me to this.

Re: Video Games LIVE (concert)

I watched the second concert (aptly titled "Level 2") via Amazon Prime last night. Loved it, even though I read that Square had them remove all the Final Fantasy tracks.

It did make me curious of Advent Rising. I'm thinking of giving it a shot even though the pro reviews are horrid.

I liked Advent Rising. I don't remember much, but I remember thinking it was enjoyable enough.
