Just saw the 5/22 episode.

I'll give 1 spoiler. Its a goodie. Read at own risk.

More spoilers below ...

EXPANDED SPOILER!

Spoiler:
Rex dies in a hospital bed while Bree is at home. He dies thinking Bree spiked his food/meds. He leaves a note saying he knows what she did but forgives. Bree gets a phone call at home about his death and then continues to clean silverware afterward.

Let me know if anyone wants another spoiler. There's another goodie too.

Spoiler:
He also played JFK's brother Bobby in that Costner Movie '29 Days'. He obviously died there too. I bet the DH producer knows all about his deaths and used it again as a cruel joke!.

3rd spoiler:

Spoiler:
Zach holds Teri Hatcher (forgot her character's name) at gunpoint in her house. Edie comes by & Teri has to blow her off at the front door. Edie wants to come in, but Teri cant let her in. So Edie calls her a bitch (or something like that) to her face thinking Teri's being standoffish.

I wonder if the role Steven Culp had in the abhorrid Fantastic Four film as Dr. Doom counts as well?

Well, I wonder if Mike might be Zach's father?

Let me say that Marcia Cross deserves at least an Emmy nom. if not a win for her work on this show. I cannot help but wonder what will happen to her character and whether or not she can get life insurance on Rex?

So, do we know who sent Mary Alice the note "I know what you did"? Was it Mrs. Huber?

Lynnette got exactly what she deserved.

Bree would have made Martha Stewart proud, finishing the silverware before breaking down.

Looks like Carlos finally knows about John, and Gabby's going to have deal with 2 guys vying for fatherhood.

Susan's fate lies with Zach. Did Zach finish off Felicia, or is she still alive?

Mike now knows what happened to Deirdre, and Paul is spared his life for the tale.

What is up with the super-quick no-personal-inspection purchase of the house by the Alfre Woodward character?

That was established quite a while back. Mrs Huber heard rumors about Mary Alice and the baby from her sister, and being the high-and-mighty person she was, decided to give Mary-Alice a hard time about it. After seeing tonight's ep, however, it looks pretty likely that Mary-Alice thought that the note referred to Dierdre's murder. Mary-Alice was most likely feeling some serious guilt after discovering that not only did she kill somebody who was just trying to get their kid back, but also that Diedre was actually telling the truth in that she wasn't using drugs again.

Lynnette got exactly what she deserved.
Yeah, while her motives may have been good (it was shown that Tom really wasn't around all that much), what she did was just plain wrong.

Looks like Carlos finally knows about John, and Gabby's going to have deal with 2 guys vying for fatherhood.
Well, Gaby could still try and convince him that John had a crush on her and was trying to get closer to her by "lying" to him, or something similar.

Not only that, but Carlos' outburst in court could seriously hinder his chances at a short jail term.

Susan's fate lies with Zach. Did Zach finish off Felicia, or is she still alive?
Edie mentioned that she was taken away in an ambulance, so it's still unknown.

Well, I wonder if Mike might be Zach's father?
It's possible, and there's been a lot of speculation along those lines recently.

However, keep in mind that Diedre was also sleeping with the cop that Mike killed, so he could also be the father, as we don't know when all that happened relative to Zach/Dana's birth.

Good episode. Answered a lot of questions and some good cliffhangers for next year.

Hope Lost is as satisfying on Wed.

Damn, Rex brought a lot of humor to the show. Why couldn't they have killed off Andrew instead?

Regarding Tom, from what I heard, the original plan was that he was supporting a kid somewhere else (and maybe a second wife, too?), but ABC nixed that, so they had to come up with a new secret for Tom. Whether they've done that yet, I don't know.

From what I've heard, the central mystery of next season will be
Spoiler:
Alfre Woodard's character and her son. There's something up with him, although I don't know what it is.

Does anyone know if Mary Alice will keep narrating?

They should get "Irv" from "Everwood" to narrate because I hear he's looking for a narrating gig (now that Everwood decided to ditch the narration, and you could have him involved with the Alfre Woodard subplot).

It bothers me a little that Rex's last thoughts were that his wife killed him, even though he forgave her. I wonder if there will be any legal ramifications for Bree to go through next season. I feel sorry for that pharmacist if/when she finds out what he did.

Good for Tom. It's about time he showed some backbone.

Why would you feel sorry for the Pharmacist? He basically killed Rex by giving him the wrong med's.

Also, I disagree strongly with your SNL ratings. The Will Ferrell episode was decent the Lohan ep blew monkey balls.

Damn that was good!!

-- Nice breakdown scene with Bree! Uggh, both of Rex's last scenes in the Pilot and Season Finale end up in the hospital. Why didn't they kill the gardener instead??

-- Maybe Mary Alice and Rex can take turns doing the voice-over work next season. It would be fun to hear "Rex" narrate and comment on Bree's emotional status and gloss over their past as a married couple in one of those quirky flashbacks.

I'm guessing that Alfire Woodard's secret will take center stage next year since there's nowhere else to go with Mary Alice's story...
