what the hell is up with this stupidfreaky rounded design and art-deco style consoles.

and no im not a nintendo fanboi - i hate all 3 consoles with equil venom right now.

so i cant stack consoles anymore? all these rounded edges, and xbox falls off the playstation. how stupid is that?

Don't forget NES. You put some games on top of it and all of the sudden you can't open the stupid door.

wait, if the xbox360 is concave, and the ps3 is convex, aren't they then stackable? use this excuse and your parents will surely have to buy you both.

yeah, consoles have never really been stackable. You can't stack anything on top of the X-box now do to it's bevelled top, and it's pretty heavy to stack on other components. Most others were top loading with carts or CDs.

But I agree, I wish they'd just make them all look like DVD players so they're stackable and blend in with an HT.

Your comments on the shape of the consoles were inaccurate, not to mention reminiscent of gamefaqs.

Other than the PS2, I can't think of any stackable consoles.

And even that assumes your PS2 is still playable in a horizonal position.

In what bizzarro world were you living in where you could stack an snes, n64, genesis, gamecube? Hell, if you wanted to put in a new game in your playstation 1 it would have to be on top of everything.

Maybe you should get some books instead, those are easily stackable. Or some lunchables, those are also stackable.

The only ones that come to mind are the guys that tried to market their hardware like home theater equipment that played games. Systems like the Pioneer Laseractive, 3DO FZ-1 and some of the models of CD-i, but honestly who wants to follow their innovation? They all died horrible deaths in the industry.

Yep, and at this point all three DO suck b/c they've shown little to nothing of any actual games or gameplay.

I'm glad Sony dumped the dual shock. Now if only they would switch the damn analog and digital pads.

What kind of ghetto TV stand do you have that you have to stack game consoles on top of one another? Assuming you could with the old ones which we all know is bullshit.

Honestly, I didn't see anything in this thread that read like an insult until after this post.

You should have been informed that Tuna fish has mercury, but you're safe with the tin hat.
