Alltime best country videos?

I love (some) country videos because they bring some of the stories 'alive' that are so prevalent in country.

Some of my favorites are :

Martina McBride - Independence Day
Garth Brooks - Thunder Rolls

What are some other ones? Not just a good song, but where the video tells the story?

Hmm...this is definitely a tough one...

Some of my favorite videos:
Brad Paisley - Whiskey Lullaby
Paul Brandt - I Meant to Do That
Billy Gillman - One Voice
Jessica Andrews - Unbreakable Heart
I really like both of Sammy Kershaw's - Meant to Be, as well as - Politics, Religion, and Her

and for sheer hotness (of the woman in the video) I of course have to include Phil Vasser - Carlene.

A few of my favorites (sorry, most don't tell a story but they all look great and set a tone)

Suzy Bogguss - Drive South
Tiff Merritt - Virginia, No One Can Warn You
Allison Moorer - Alabama Song
Shania Twain - If You're Not In It For Love (I'm Outta Here)
Sara Evans - Born to Fly

And in a class by themselves:
Johnny Cash - Delia's Gone, Rusty Cage, Hurt

I question how much of a country fan you are when you think Whiskey Lullabye is by Kenny Chesney.

Not because of story, but because of women...

"Breathe", Faith Hill
"Who's Your Daddy", Toby Keith (Keith Brooking's woman is HOT!)

Definitly "Whisky Lulybye" by Paisley and Krausse. I also think "God's Will" by Martina McBride is great. Most of Toby Keith's videos are extremely fun and patriotic which I love. Then some other ones:

Blaine Larsen: How Do You Get That Lonely
Lonestar: I'm Already There
John Montgomery: Letters From Home
Darryl Worely: Have You Forgotten?

All use video to really tell the story.

Does it really matter? I mean, honestly...listen to what you just described. What matters isn't what it is, just that it is. Shania with hot dancers in daisy dukes. There is a God, and he is good.

No, I don't know which one that is.

Ok, been waiting awhile to ask this question...

What video is it where there is this old man, and he's going all over the place picking up flowers, then he takes it to a nursing home, and leaves them all over the place for (I'm guessing) his wife?

There was one line of dialogue in the video that reminded me of Forrest Gump... He's at the bus stop with three or four other people, and he says something like, "Is that the number 'x' bus? and someone else says, "No sir, that's just a big 'ol truck", and when they are distracted he takes some of their flowers...

???? I think this video would have come out around 1995-1996. I saw it at my friend's that had CMT.

Travis Tritt the plays the old man.
Thanks SO much! That just about brings a tear to my eye...

I'm not a big country fan, but that video always stuck in my memory. We got VH1 Country here about 6 months ago, wish we had CMT. I'm catching up on some great music.

The only other videos I remember from then would be Sold by John Michael Montgomery and So Much For Pretending by Bryan White.

Thanks again!

Just about any slower country song/ballad by Travis Tritt has a video that tugs at the heartstrings.

Inlcuidng: Tell Me I Was Dreaming, Anymore, and Help Me Hold On

Oh and Shania Twain ridin' the horse in "Don't" is pretty hot...the song is just okay, though.

Ok I realize this may describe all country songs ever written, but there was a hit about 2 years ago about a girl with abusive parents that was finally taken in by some good family? Super tearjerker... All I remember ..

Are you thinking of Concrete Angel by Martina McBride? Except that one doesn't have a happy ending...

I agree with the previous sentiments about Johnny Cash's videos. My favorite would have to be "It Was" by Chely Wright. She looks soooooooo hot in that video.
