Has anyone heard of Thirteen Senses (AKA "The Next Coldplay #36")?

I got their debut and it's not as strong as some of the better albums I have heard these past couple of months but I am pretty impressed. They've got a knack for writing singles. I wouldn't be surprised to see these guys on OC Mix 5.

Not terrific, but pleasing. Of course they get comparisons to Coldplay, Keane, Travis, and I personally am reminded of Grandaddy in a few moments. Their website www.thirteensenses.com has 30-s clips of the entire album.

I've heard very little of these guys stateside and wanted to get your opinions.

I've been listening to it on and off for a week or so and am still undecided about it. There are a couple of tracks that I'm enjoying; the others haven't quite made an impression one way or the other.

I think it's decent, but I like the Athlete album better. I've been listening to that a lot lately.
