Help me ID this Song pls !
This song must be from the 70s
I got the tune in my head but i feel i have the lyrics wrong, hence my attempts to search for the lyrics have come up empty.
Here is what i think the lyrics are, hopefully they will jog someone's memory

In years gone by the hugely successful (often behind the scenes) Mike Batt penned a number of Brit Tv theme tunes and did some work for New Edition which I think was a made up ensemble just for that purpose.
He was also the genius behind both the Watership Down and the Womble music!
