Help me identify this 60's flick

I need help from you guys in identifying a 1960's adventure flick. Here are some of the scenes I remember. One scene is about pirates attacking their ship, then the pirate ship mysteriously sinks. Then they find out that some person sank it. Captian Nemo I think. He has this sub in a cave called the nautilus I believe. In another scene they fight a giant bird and also giant bees. They are all stranded on a deserted island with a volcano that is about to erupt. The movie is like the sinbad flicks. I don't know any of the actors name as I barely remember the scenes. Any help please.

Ah! "Mysterious Island," one of the perennial favorites from my childhood. I haven't thought about this film for a long, long time. This thread has inspired me to purchase it for old times sake.

You should check out the Harryhausen box sets. There's a Science Fiction one that includes Mysterious Island.

Here is a review for The Legendary Science Fiction Series.

Here is a review for The Legendary Monster Series box set.

I own both of these box sets and highly recommend them to fans of these movies. You can get them for around $40 a piece at Best Buy, I think. I'm sure there's some online deals to be found for them too.

If it had been a 70's movie, I was thinking The Land that Time Forgot.

Are these movies similiar at all?
