do yourself a favor and don't. It has amazing graphics but the game is way too easy and dumbed down, I never died even once. Not to mention the story is really disappointing (terrible ending), and some of the worst music of the series. I liked FFX, but this game is quite different for a direct sequel. There are much better rpgs that came out you ought to check out first. But for $10 i suppose anything's worth trying.

I thought this game was a whole lot of fun and pounced on it when I found it for $9.99 at EB (hadn't seen this thread and just asked how much they had it for out of curiosity). The music is not bad at all. It's just a totally different flavor from that of the previous game. FFX definitely has the better story of the two but FFX-2 is just pure escapism.
