I watched the bittorrent and I had my mouth open half the time. The other half I was laughing.
Josh Schwartz wrote this one and it shows. I really enjoyed it even if it contains so many things which make you look at the characters in disbelief.

The first episode had everything I like about the OC - funny Seth, funny Sandy, and ludicrous melodrama.
If Marissa was worried about everyone seeing her scratched-up chest, why did she wear an open jacket to school? Oh, I forgot, she doesn't own any normal clothes

The show used to be fun but now it's almost painful to watch. Every cliche was thrown at us in Episode 1 last night. Seth and the whip cream girl. Oooh, Big surprise that she had a big bo-hunk boyfriend. Even bigger surprise that Summer just happened to be watching it on TV. Seth used to be entertaining when he was the underdog, now he is annoying.
Kristin? Is this all they could find to do with her character? Pretty sad.
And the whole Trey thing? Why did they even introduce the character if they were just going to have him turn out to be a typical TV stock hoodlum. I was hoping, he would turn his act around but after what he did to Marissa on the Beach, that doesn't look like it is going to happen.
