I own the UK dvds of Series 1 and if these are an upgrade I will buy these nice american dvds, just hope they have some extras and the picture and sound is top, but as they never released Season 2 of the show over here I am gonna have to buy this set to see the final season! (its out in australia, but costs a fortune!).

Roll on the specs and artwork! Jennifer Sky is a goddess!

Next release Jack of All Trades! now!

This is great news. I feared season 2 would never get a release. I will for sure get this for the season 2 episodes. This show was great fun.

Funny you should say that, Jennifer Sky played an Amazon in some Xena episodes. Very cute girl.

I must have this!! I bought a couple of the UK collections and rented the 5-disc Australia set from Nicheflix. It'll be nice to have R1 versions. Hope the quality is just as good.

She was in a season one episode of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. I drooled so I knew it was her before the credits ran.

Holy shit! Just checking Jennifer Sky's imdb listing, I discovered that her and I share a birthday. She's 3 years younger though.

UPDATE: Just got my copy from Amazon.com, started watching it sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

My biggest beef about it though, besides it's being fullscreen but then again it was a TV show filmed for fullscreen not a cinema movie, is the discs are FLIPPERS and the packaging has DISC 1 & 2 TOUCHING ARGH AND ACK!

Hmmm I did see a bootleg on Ebay that was 5 discs, must be single sided discs, the same dealer had the series "Voyagers" and "Fantastic Journey" both of which ARE NOT available legitimately. All their DVDs seem to be region 0.

So the dvds do they scratch each other? or are they held really firm? as that close isnt good

and again stop with the double sided Universal!

I will buy the show soon hopefully.

All you Jennifer Sky fans -- you have seen "My Little Eye", right? If her tv show appearances get you going, this one could cause heart failure.

I have the Cleopatra DVD set saved on my DDD wishlist. After spending so much with their last sale, I'm trying to hold out with further DVD purchases until the end of the year. Hopefully the double-sided DVDs are packaged well. If they are indeed physically touching each other, that really sucks. There was something similar for one of the Farscape Starburst DVD sets. There were just 2 double-sided DVDs, each well secured to the inside of the case. But there was a stupid insert bouncing around free touching both exposed sides of the DVDs (but this was only done for 1 of the 4 sets so far, so maybe they wised up at a certain point).
