Errol Flynn Sig. Series: HUGE disappointment
Is anyone else as bummed out by the Errol Flynn Signature Series as I am? DODGE CITY is one of my favorite westerns, Flynn films, Warner Bros. classics...but it is unwatchable! One scene in focus, the next needs 3-D glasses, back and forth, back and forth. Why include it (ditto ELIZABETH AND ESSEX) if you haven't fixed the Technicolor registration? Okay, so it's an expensive process, but...
Other fine Flynn b&W films could have been included, or the set should have been smaller, or it could have cost a few more dollars. If I could return it, I would--and Warners should be put on notice for doing such a poor job. After the incredible work they did on previous Technicolor DVDs.
Anyone else feel the same, or differently?

Hmm, I barely noticed it. In fact, I wouldn't have noticed anything had I not read the review on here prior to watching. I loved both films.
I thought this set was great, but there's definitely enough left over for a second set. I really want The Divebomber, Dawn Patrol, Gentleman Jim and Charge of the Light Brigade.

I should have phrased it better when I described it as unwatchable. I found it highly annoying to have the picture constantly shifting from a clear, sharp image, to an unregistered one, and back and forth. It was very pronounced on my TV, and it took me out of the movie.
