Monkey Ball 1&2 vs Deluxe

Is there anything on the original Gamecube versions of Super Monkey Ball that is not on the Deluxe version for Xbox? I would like to know before I buy the deluxe version and dump my old ones on ebay. thanks.

Super Monkey 1 & 2 Deluxe version only for PS2/XBOX have alot extra compare to GC version Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2. Also, Super Monkey Ball 3 (GC) is on the work and hope it hit the store later this year.

It has been four years since the first Monkey Ball rolled onto the GameCube but for Xbox owners it may have been worth the wait. This version contains 114 levels from the first game, 140 levels from Super Monkey Ball 2, and 46 brand new maps.
That's all I could find. It's nice its all on one disk, however I am not sure I would want to give up my comfy Gc Wavebird for playing the game. However the extra maps make me want to pick it up.

Also, all the maps are structured into a SMB 2 style story mode, where you can skip certain maps if you're having trouble. The 46 new maps are sprinkled thoughout the game. In addition, all the mini games are unlocked from the beginning.

Made it easier for all the PS2 and Xbox players.

Can I assume that the Xbox version is 480p widescreen?

deluxe has extra levels. The only thing missing out of deluxe is the Dole bannana labels.

i know it's got 480p not sure about ws

This was a must buy if they had made it LIVE capable.

As much as I love SMB on my Cube, I don't think that I will doubledip on this one just for a few extra levels.

A big plus to the Xbox version is that all the mini games are unlocked from the get go. I thought about dumping my GCN copies just for this reason. I only unlocked 2-3 of the mini games.

I can't believe I forgot about that. That has to be the greatest product placement ever in a videogame.

I actually liked having to unlock the mini-games. Gave me a reason to keep at the uber-difficult main game.
