Help with an 80s song title....

Sounds like a one hit British band, probably 3 dudes. Mid 80s.

All I remember is that the chorus is just yelling "Aye aye aye aye aye aye...." and repeats.

Anyone?

Just in case...it's not actually "ya ya ya ya ya ya ya" is it? If so, it's probably Tones on Tail singing "Go!" - they were a fantastic band, much more than a one hit wonder.

Just heard a clip, but that doesn't sound like it. The clip never had the "Aye aye aye aye aye aye" part. Pretty sure is wasn't ya ya ya ya ya.

Man it is stupid to try to find a song this way.

No, I'll bet it's the Call "The Walls Came Down". But they aren't British so maybe not! No matter, that song is AWESOME.

I agree, but doesn't it drive you nuts when you can't think of a song? There is an 80's song that I have been trying to figure out for a while now. It's like an R&B or Hip hop type song and it almost sounds like they used the "Framp-tone" (The thing Peter Frampton used in "Do You Feel Like We do?") it's digitzed and the only lyrics I can think of is "Hey lady, let me tell you why"

Anyone?

It's not "Shake Your Foundations" - AC/DC is it?

Also, did Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum) or somebody who sounds like him ever sing a cover of 'Bird on a Wire'? I heard that song on the radio years ago with a grungy Pirner-like singer and have never been able to track it down.

Back to "Love Plus One"... for some reason I wasn't even thinking about the "aye aye aye" part, but the "and a Ring and a Ring and a Ring". I've listened to that song since it was out (LOVE that whole album) and I never realized he was singing "Ring and a Ring"... had no clue! Just did a search and I assume that is correct. Makes sense.

Love Plus One? I always thought he was saying
"Ah- ya- ya- ya- ya- yah"... not "Aye aye aye aye aye aye."

Then again, I've always screwed up song lyrics.

Wow! You guys rock! I have one that has benbothering me for weeks but I am sure I don't have enough information on it to get a title. I don't even know what year it's from but I think it's current. At least I know where to go when Iget more info! :-)
