anyone one seen KRAFTWERK 'live'?

tix just went on sale for two performances at the 9:30 Club for May 30 and 31st, I am very interested in seeing them, the tix price however I find a tad steep at $40. So my question, what is this band like "live"? Is it worth forty bucks to see a performance from them?

Saw them on the Europe MTV Awards a couple of years ago, 4 guys tapping away at laptops.

I've never seen them live, but in all seriousness I would think the audience would be half the fun.

Saw them at Coachella last year.

I wouldn't pay forty bucks unless you're a fan. Basically, it is four guys, dressed alike (and badly), standing in front of computers.

The huge monitor behind them displaying images "linked" to the songs is kinda fun though.

The music is great but it sounds like you're listening to it right off the album.

Audience would be fun, that's why I'm going to Phoenix next week in sf.

Full of French Chicks, I asssume blokes too for Giles.

well it was kind of funny that last nights crowd, was largely all male (male to female ratio 7 to 1) and that no one really got into the music (i.e, dance, you know bounce, sway, throw your arms into the air, clap to the beat, the audience was simply lame, appreciative, but largley inanimate). The graphics were great, the replacement robots for "We are the Robots": classic, two hours of sheer bliss, best 40 buck show hands down.
