No idea if this is a good deal or not, but I thought the CC version was OOP (it is according the DVDAF). Anyway, it's on their main page, but here's (http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemid=HVD001597) the link.

Just saw this and was coming to post it here. I'll probably pass as I haven't seen it and it probably wouldn't be my cup of tea.

I actually still have it sealed from that DVD Empire CC sale from Sept. 2003. Probably gonna watch it this week, though, as it's one of the last unwatched DVDs I have.

I have it still sealed from OverStock, when they had it on their site at the end of 2004. I think it wasn't but $17 or so for some reason.

Either way, this is a great price for it also.

So is the Straw Dogs CC a 2-disc set or not?
-confused-

Kept putting this one off, but grabbed it now, before all oppourtunites are gone.

the funny thing is, I can't imagine ever watching it again after having seen it once (unless I was taking a film class for it or something). It really is difficult to watch (not boring or anything- but Hoffman being pushed further and further is grueling and truly unsettling). The only reason I'd pick this up is for collectibility purpose.

Exactly. I actually did a thesis on this movie for a film class I took and yeah, I really don't care to watch it again anytime soon and I think the movie is superb.

Nice deal on this, BTW.

Check out the commentary track if you haven't. It really is excellent.
