Film version of Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schonberg's 'Les Miserables' - when?
Is this ever coming out? I thought a number of years ago, that there was talk of making a film version of this - what's the story? Given the lacklustre reviews of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera - has this put a damper on such a project?

well i'm still looking waiting for the musical version.
but of course, they would have the problem of an incredibly long and drawn out ending replete with uninteresting songs and falsetto voices.
its funny how often musicals turn out so many good songs in the beginning but very few in the end.
that's why i think joseph and the fantabulous multihued fantasyapparel is so great love the ending

I closed my eyes, drew back the curtain
To see for certain what I thought I knew
Far far away, someone was weeping
But the world was sleeping
Any dream will do
I wore my coat, with golden lining
Bright colours shining, wonderful and new
And in the east, the dawn was breaking
And the world was waking
Any dream will do
A crash of drums
A flash of light
My golden coat flew out of sight
The colours faded into darkness
I was left alone
May I return to the beginning
The light is dimming, and the dream is too
The world and I, we are still waiting
Still hesitating, any dream will do
Still hesitating, any dream will do
May I return to the beginning
The light is dimming, and the dream is too
The world and I, we are still waiting
Still hesitating, any dream will do
Give me my coloured coat,
My amazing coloured coat
Give me my coloured coat,
My amazing coloured
Coat
Andrew Lloyd Webber's music and Tim Rice's lyrics are simply sublime
