wow, Juan is like a mini-Ricardo Mayorga. He just throws bombs. With his defense, he doesn't even use his arms to block, but instead he just tries to dodge the punches. I guess that's why he clocked with that one punch in the fourth round.

He was like a 4th grader in a schoolyard fight with his head down the whole time , always coming forward and throwing punches.

Tarick looked pretty dam beat up after that fight.

Pretty dull episode and fight, though the last round was pretty good.

I don't see why they put Tarik on the show, having not fought for 3 1/2 years or whatever. It was clear he was rusty.

Conditioning and age beat Tarik as much or more than Juan's skills did. Experience just wasn't enough to make up for it.

yeah. I can't see Juan having the same kind of results against some of the stronger boxers in the competition. I would imagine come the second round someone will call his name early.

Still a great show. I think the second round should be interesting. The dead weight is gone, and we know a little more about each boxer. I wonder if Ishe will back his thrash talking and call out Anthony. Could be interesting.

Yeah- I agree with everyone; Tarik wasn't in boxing shape (but I was still rooting for him!). Juan doesn't have the charisma to make it yet- he's a bit too reckless in the ring. I'll be interested to see if Ishe calms down, or stays angry until his fight with Tony, if it ever happens.

What'd you guys think of Tarik's wife?? She reminded me of Yasmeen Bleeth, but I was going back and forth on whether or not she was hot... lol

That last round was great, two fighters just throwing every punch they had to try and win it.

I was expecting Tarik to pull rope a dope and let Juan tire himself out and then go in for the kill.

What are they going to do next episode with no challenge and no drama as to who will be fighting?

45 minutes of human interest crap with Joey crying about his dad coming back from Afganhistan?

Thank god for Tivo.

she kinda looked like Peter Manfredo's wife to me...or maybe it's cuz they had the same complexion.

Neways, I didn't find her too attractive.

That fight was fun to watch but was technically ugly

Bit sad to see people wuss out of being tough on Antony

Second round fights will be good

Thought it was an entertaining fight, maybe the most entertaining punch-wise.

I thought Tarick's wife was a hottie, although I couldn't really make out her body in that damn sarong. I'd put her at number 3 though, behind Peter's and Ahmed's girl.

If de la Rosa ever learns how to box he could be fun to watch in the future. He's got the heart and the punch power.
