PEACEKEEPER WARS R1 vs. R2

Sorry if this is a dub thread, I looked and didn't see it. Anyway, can anyone who has both versions tell me if the deleted scenes on the R2 are substantial enough to justify a double dip? Are there noticable differences in the framing or the transfer? Thanks.

I had both versions of Peacekeeper Wars (sold R1 because it was horrible and upgraded to R2)

R2 is superiour on every aspect, picture quality is way lot better, not perfect though, but lot better then on R1.

Also more extras and all extras are anamorphic widescreen while R1 only has making of documentary which is letterboxed PAL -> NTSC conversion.

Also package in R2 is way lot nicer looking (2 amarays inside drawer)
Also menus are lot nicer on R2.

Only thing R1 has over R2 is that it includes subtitles in English, which can be useful for some people and price of R1 is about half of R2.
