Joan of Arcadia 4/8/05
Last night's episode featuring the interpretation of Joan's cleaning to get down to the deep truth was okay. The other subplot with the guidance counselor getting levied with the lewd behavior charge by a distraught female student wasn't all that interesting, but at least he got something good out of it as he was nudged out of his comfort zone. The same with for Kevin's subplot where Helen was having problems with the thought of Kevin moving out.
Having Joan realize that you can't simply erase a past relationship by giving back all the stuff that accumulates over such a courtship was good, she'll be able to look back at some of the artifacts of that relationship, and hopefully she'll remember most of the good things that came from it, versus the one act of betrayal that ended it.

You know the previews for this episode make it appear so much more sinister than it actually was. Every shot was out of context in all of the commercials. Ruined what was a decent episode for me.
