I wanted to ask for advice on a matter, so I figured we could just have a thread where people ask questions if they want, instead of 2099824 threads going whenver a question pops up.
Ok, so I'm in a head-to-head league. There are two days left in the week and I'm only winning walks by two. Pretty much every other stat in pitching is decided by now. My opponent only pitched Kerry Wood and Odalis Perez this week, so he's winning hits allowed, losses, and earned runs by a big margin because I pitched Schmidt, Johnson, Oswalt, Rivera and Urbina. My question is, should I bench all my pitchers for the rest of the week to win the walks category? It seems like such a waste to not pitch Johnson and Schmidt this weekend, but if they give up three walks I'll probably lose. If I win the walks category and hitting stays the same or betters for me, I'll win the week. If my hitting worsens, I still may be able to win with the point from winning walks. What would you do? Does any of my babbling even make sense?
