Was out hunting for this before getting from DDD, and stumbled upon it at Circuit City for $12.99. This is the best price of anwhere and it's the 2 disc unrated! Hope this is beneficial, now if I could only get it out of the slip...

Awesome. If I didn't just win it in a contest, I'd be all over it. It's a really great two-disc set, and the slipcover is nice and sturdy! That really is a steal of a price.

Their website has it for $19.99. I'm thinking it's quite possible that they got it mispriced with the other "A Tale of Two Sisters" that has Charlie Sheen. I don't see that one listed on their website, but DDD's got it for $9.35, so the $12.99 at CC sounds about right.
Good find for you, but I'm guessing it's a YMMV for everyone else.

is this dubbed or is it in english? also, is the commentary tracks in english or korean?

That could be the case. They did scan the actual dvd though, so it's in the system with the correct barcode and all, just $12.99.

I got this as a blind buy a few days ago from overstock for $16.31. $12.99 is a steal. This two disc doesn't have any dubs. Only the original Korean language track in Dolby 2.0, Dolby 5.1, and DTS. The commentary is in Korean, with English subtitles. Unfortunately, you'll have to sacrifice viewing the film's movie subtitles if you have the commentary track on. If you've seen the film, this shouldn't be much of a problem to follow. Overall, great film.

I saw KOMA at CC for $12.99. That's another Tartan Asia Extreme title that sells at Best Buy for $20.99 and at Borders for $24.99. I think the lowest online price is $14.29. CC's website lists it for $19.99.
I looked around for other Tartan DVDs at CC but couldn't find any.
So, maybe all the Tartan Asia Extreme titles are $12.99 at CC. The trick is in finding a store that stocks them all.

Now, that's a great heads up!
I was browsing the local Suncoast the other day, and all the Tartan Asia Extreme titles were at least $24.99! This definitely warrants another trip to CC, even though I was just there today....

My CC also lists Koma for $12.99, but it's not in stock. They did have Phone in stock for $14.99, which I don't consider that great of a bargain though.

Is KOMA an acronym? Sorry, stupid question, but if so--What's it stand for? I have a feeling I'm going to feel really dumb once I find out.
Edit: I looked it up and figured it out. Ha ha. Sorry. Strange I hadn't heard of the title. I'm interested and considering picking it up. Thanks!

went to my CC, asked if they had Tale of Two Sisters. lady looked it up in a book and said "we don't carry that title". would have been nice but not bummed.

checked the CC nearest to me, they had Phone for 14.99 but no Tale of Two Sisters. also it was really weird, at Best Buy they seemed to carry all the other Asia Extreme titles, but no Tale of Two Sisters.

I ordered this through DDD a week ago; received shipping confirmation today. It was listed as backordered even then, so there is still hope with this one online for cheap!

Thanks OP. I picked up Tale of Two Sister's and Koma today and the Circuit City at Whitman's Square in Philly this morning. There was still another copy of each left.

I've noticed that Circuit City has been carrying most of the Tartan discs that have come out so far, and all have been $14.99. I've seen Doppelganger, Phone, and A Snake of June...all at 15 bucks even though their web site says a higher price or if the web site even has them listed at all. So, when Tale of Two Sisters was released, I was hoping to find it at CC, too, at a great price, but no dice, and it's been two weeks since the thing came out. I finally got it a local independent shop for $20.99. Damn, now I feel like crap that some CC's have it for $12.99.

Dullboy, did you pick it up at Waterloo? I went looking there for it on Friday and there was a hole where it might have been. Just curious. I ended up getting it at the CC in Round Rock. Surprised you didn't find it at the CC's in Austin. I was disappointed that I couldn't find it at first, and while browsing saw it in front of JU-ON. Snagged it for 12.99.

Man, that sucks. I never thought to check the CC in Round Rock. Shit! Yeah, that was me that made the hole over at Waterloo. Come to think of it, I can probably take it back and get an exchange since the return policy says 10 days. If only I can find the receipt....and wait for another copy at the Round Rock CC.

The Daly City, CA CC doesn't carry it, but they have such a tiny selection anyway.

I was in CC today (on Colonial in Orlando, FL) and picked up Koma for 12.99. They had another copy there as well. I checked for Phone, but they didn't have it, and also Tale of Two Sisters (already have it, but just wanted to check for others). I might call some of the other local CC's tomorrow and see if they have Phone.
Are there any other Tartan Asia Extreme movies that people have found for cheap at CC? Doppelganger or Whispering Corriders perhaps? I don't know what other titles are currently available in this line, since Tartan's site caters to their UK branch.

So far, of the ones I'm interested in, I've managed to find at CC:
Koma $12.99 (BB has it for $20.99)
Whispering Corridors $14.99 (None at BB)
Tale of Two Sisters $12.99 (None at BB)
Still can't find:
Phone $??? (BB has it for $20.99)
Memento Mori $??? (CC clerk said it's $14.99; BB has it for $20.99)
Hey, Shagrath, check here (Tartan's US website):

Yeah, I forgot to mention I've seen Whispering Corridors there for $14.99 also. I was really surprised to find A Snake of June there for $14.99. Memento Mori is supposed to be out today, but CC never seems to have these right on the release date. Never found Koma, but already had the R3 version anyway.

It might just be me, but these strike me as bootlegs. There's some titles over there (Sword in the Moon) where the only release so far is the official Korean one, and I know that should be more than $8. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I'd take my chances ordering from this etailer.

And from reading their FAQ, it's clear that the guy who runs their store is a jackass, too.
