Saw that my local area Blockbuster's are having a 5 for $25 sale on all pre-viewed DVDs. All titles as well, unlike Hollywood. I guess it's a spring cleaning thing for them. Not sure if just in Wichita, but I thought I would share the info.

Jaypen's store is probably a franchised store so this is a big YMMV.

Different store, but I went by a Hollywood Video with a "4 for $20" banner.

Probably their standard 4/$20 on PVD's usually priced at $8 and under.

Yep. One should ask their local store if they are a franchise. They do different deals and even do their own thing, store to store. Sometimes they don't take part of some of the promotions of the official chain. it is always good to know.

I have a chain store and a franchise, literally, 3-4 blocks away. The franchise often does everything differently than the other one. Last summer they had a tent sale in the parking lot on used dvd's. Everything was $10 or less. Most $4.99 or $6.99.

In future it would greatly help if this info was provided. Thanks.

Was this any previously viewed dvd's from blockbuster or just certain ones under a certain price? Also, at which blockbuster in Wichita?

This is for previously viewed DVDs. I saw the sale at the 21st and Maize Blockbuster. Don't know if any other stores were doing it also.

Stopped in at BB yesterday and no luck. A big YMMV on this one.

Was it all PVD's or just like ones under 7.99..etc?

It was all PVDs. I got some new titles like Alfie and Flight of the Phoenix amongst others. Got 15 in all.

By the way, it was in each of three stores that I went to, so I think the whole city participated. Sorry that it was only here in Wichita. Was hoping to help some others out. Wasn't sure though, that's why I said YMMV. I guess in this case it ahould have been OIW, or 'only in Wichita'.

How do you know if a Blockbuster is a corporate or franchise store? The BB near me never have these types of sales.

Sweet deal . . . gotta' be franchises. No word of it in the merchandising that I've seen.
