To all the fanboys out there, this ones for you

Well, the console wars are gonna start up in a year or so, so I figure I'll head them off and post this baby as a reminder for all the fan-kiddies out there

http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=142

Edit: I suppose this strip goes for the PSP vs DS people too.

Not funny at all, just like Penny Arcade. I guess game geeks and sense of humor are mutually exclusive.

Same here. The only strip to get it right isn't even a video game strip, Foxtrot. The son plays games, computers and is into the sci-fi type stuff. Very good stuff.

FoxTrot is pretty good, and pretty funny; usually accurate on the tech stuff as well.
VGCats has been funny once or twice, but not recently. And I'm not a big fan of humor calling babies 'god damn retards'.

I guess I'm the odd one out, VGcats is one of my favorite online comics. (and yeah, I like PA too) Granted the one above isn't all that funny but on the whole I think the comic is good.

Scott's Zelda strips are my favorite.

Maybe us geeks have a different sense of humour . I find PA pretty good, of course there are always hits and misses.

The vgcats probably needed a few less panels to get to it's punch line .

I thought that Ctrl Alt Del one was pretty funny. The original comic that kicked off the thread was kind of lame though, but i've seen worse from Penny Arcade.

Where can I get a mushroom shirt like the one in the CTRL-ALT-DEL comic?

Well since Foxtrot didn't replace it since Calvin was retired it isn't exactly blasphemy. I said it was a worthy successor. There is a difference. In the same sense that Speed Bump is a worthy successor to the Far Side. They aren't quite as good as Cavin & Far Side, but they are very entertaining and worthy of the vacated spots left by C&H, and FS.

Wow...now I'm aware of THREE video game comic strips that aren't funny.
