Just finished watching the first episode. Holy shit. Really great, IMO. Really interesting and I'll surely be watching more.
I doubt Mabius is dead. He's listed as a regular cast member.

Haha, I knew it as well. Mabius skated by, but got the message loud and clear (plus, his death would have opened up more questions).
Also, it looks like they gave A.J. Langer a makeover from the pilot, so she's actually appealing in this episode.

Really found this episode to be pretty good.
Not really suprised that the guy is not dead.
Wonder when we will see the husband again. I really enjoyed his performance in the pilot.
So glad there is an alternative to L&O/CSI. This is a very entertaining show.

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon looked smoking hot on the plane, even though she is working for the enemy.
Tim Daly is really good in this. I liked the fact that he made sure the kidnapper got flagged at the airport AND the doctor got busted for selling drugs. He was so light & breezy about it too.

Yep on both counts. She looks great - better than ever did on Melrose. I think it is darker hair color.
I loved GBN dropping the French talk in the corporate executive's office. She looked great; she was so underused on Blue.
The only problem I had with the episode was that the kidnapper was dumb enough to rely on a passport that they gave him.

Uh oh.
The only bright spot is that there was almost no fall-off in viewership for Eyes from last week to this week. However to do that poorly against 2 reruns isn't good.
Damn you, ABC. Why couldn't you have given Eyes, the far superior show to Grey's Anatomy, the plum spot behind Desperate Housewives. It would seem to be a better fit there.
A "Law & Order" rerun posted a 7.9/13 for NBC to win the 10 p.m. hour. CBS got a 6.6/11 from a "CSI: NY" repeat, while ABC's "Eyes" came in at 5.6/9.

I caught the last 2/3 of this show last night and I really enjoyed it. I love the whole "we don't always play fair" kind of vibe. I don't catch a lot of TV usually, but I will try to catch this one in the future (hopefully it has one).

True, although BJ is plummeting and BJ doesn't face as strong competition. Have to hope that ABC is listening to the critics.

Well I could have said the competition for BJ isn't as stiff. I like using the initials.

Eyes is a fun show, but ANY show they put at that time slot is going to finish third, unless they try to franchise one of their long-running juggernaut hits (which they have none) like what happened to L&O and CSI. ABC should just accept finishing third at that time slot. If they're worried about ratings, they should just put a show there that doesn't cost so much.
Unfortunately, Eyes' comparisons to Karen Sisco (also an ABC show) won't just be about show content.

I am afraid that this show will get the same fate as "Karen Sisco" did. The gradual decline of "Lost"' and "Alias" ratings also suggest that ABC's dominance on Wednesday is slipping away.
