I had heard about this movie some time ago but I never saw the trailer.

Old school Japanese Giant Robots rule!

It's Japanese "Cheese" in all it's glory but I'd still like to see it one day.

sweet... anyone interested in this should try to check out Juvenile as well. Not quite the same thing, but similar.
