How is Dynasty Warriors for PSP ?
IM just wondering what this game plays like for the PSP. Is it more like DW3 or DW4 ? Is this game worth gettin for a PSP. Im a huge fan of the series, I enjoyed the 3rd one but the 4th one was a bit dissapointing.

lumines is awsome on PSP but i am not dropping $250 for system. Also, Dynasty Warriors (PSP) is worth $15-$20 instead $50. I rather pickup Dysnasty Warriors 5 (PS2) for $40 this week at CC or little cheap if you have $5 off BB GGC (Pricematch Deal)

It seems like its fun, I traded mine in after 10 minutes of play-time. Ive never played nay other version, thought I would give the PSP a shot, and didn't care for it.

Haven't picked it up, and I'm a huge fan of the DW series. One thing is that it's one of the 50 dollar games, which automatically lowers my interest level. Also, they wasted almost half the screen with maps. Finally, I guess because of the limitations of the PSP (or in bringing out the game at launch), they changed it up so that you go from area to area fighting enemies, instead of just roaming around wherever you want. It got pretty much panned in most of the reviews I read, so I'll wait until the inevitable umpteenth revision of the series when they (hopefully) fix some of this stuff...

It got a pretty crappy review in EGM. 5.0, 6.0, 6.5.
I believe it was the lowest scored game of the handful they were able to review this issue. A lot of games they only gave impressions on as the developers didn't get them final copies in time, and they won't review non-final copies of games like some mags and sites will.
If you have a PS2, they gave Dynasty Warriors 5 a 8.0, 7.5, 8.0 so I'd pick that up instead.
Looks like a case where the portable game is pretty much shovelware. Happens all the time on the various gameboy incarnations, I imagine it will be so on the PSP and DS as well.

Brian, you might know this, but that was the rating for the PSP version, not the DS version you seem to be waiting for...
Of course, I don't see how the DS can handle the multiple enemy syndrome that an integral part of the series...
