Favorite song from a Beatle as a solo act?
Since favorite Beatles songs were just brought back up, I was wondering what your favorite song from a Beatle as a solo act is?
Right now, I'm leaning towards Band on the Run, but tomorrow it could be something else.

Hard to narrow it down to one song, but it's certain to be from Plastic Ono Band. Probably "God" or "Isolation".

When We Were Fab - George Harrison
Nobody Told Me or (Just Like) Starting Over - John Lennon
Say Say Say - Paul McCartney with Michael Jackson
It Don't Come Easy - Ringo Starr

George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
Hands down my favorite solo-Beatle song.
If we were asked to name our top 5 or top 10 songs done by a Beatle, I'm pretty sure they would've all come off of the All Things Must Pass album. So much better than anything Lennon did solo, IMO.

Interestingly (to me at least), as so many people have listed "Band on the Run" as their favorite Paul solo song, mine is the song that was the "b"-side of that single.
It was the song that got me into b-sides to begin with. I'd played "Band on the Run" a ton of times, got bored with it, flipped it over and played "1985". I thought, "wow, you mean they put great songs on the other sides of these things, too?" So I hurriedly played the b-side of every single I owned at the time. Ever since then I've had a fascination with b-sides, and in many cases my favorite song by an artist is a b-side.

Imagine - John (no question here, lyrics define Lennon in this one)
Band on the Run - Paul (I like a lot of his post Beatles tunes)
All Things Must Pass - George (Also has a lot of good post tunes)
It Don't Come Easy - Ringo (not a big fan of later Ringo as himself - Caveman was a fun movie )

Although it's hard for me to pick favorites, I have some that I really like that I haven't noticed anyone naming yet:
Paul McCartney - Too Many People
John Lennon - Gimme Some Truth, Crippled Inside, How Do You Sleep?
I like the above songs, since they're purported to be personal attacks at each other. Reading the lyrics, I'd have to believe it.
George Harrison - All Those Years Ago
A sweet tribute to John Lennon, after his passing.
Ringo Starr -- eh.
