The Rest of the Amityville Series?

What do you think the chances are that MGM will release the rest of the films when the DVD of the remake comes out later this year?

The rest? Besides the 3 already out (and re-releasing next week) there's just Amityville - Dollhouse I beleive.

Man, on one hand I'm usually a completist and desire every movie of the series. On the other, the sequels are so bad as to really make me not even want to look at them.

Plus I'm fairly certain they're owned by other companies.

I'm a completeist as well, but I'm going to only go as far as the first 3 for this series.
"4 The Evil Escapes" and "Dollhouse" are already on DVD, and other companies own the others. "1992 Its about Time" was decent but "Curse" had nothing to do w/ anything Amityville related, dont remeber "New Generation" very well. This is a series that even though I like the premise I dont know that I'd actually watch the sequels enough to warrant a purchase...(and I'd have to go make custom covers to match the MGM ones
The VHS were from Vidmark I believe, not sure who that is now- Lions Gate maybe?

I was not aware of part 4 being on DVD though. Interesting.

Are the sequels (after Part II) ANY good? I mean, are they even "they're so bad that they are pretty good"?

With this set coming out tomorrow (below), it has slightly sparked my interest.

Here's a quick list for those interested:

Amityville Horror (1979)
Amityville II (1982)
Amityville 3D (1983)
Amityville IV: The Evil Escapes (1989)
Amityville Curse (1990)
Amityville: It's About Time (1992)
Amityville: A New Generation (1993)
Amityville Dollhouse (1996)

The first two are great, and It's About Time and Dollhouse are also good, but the rest range from mediocre to bad.

That would leave IV and V primed for a double feature, hopefully. I find it irritating that the movies in that triple feature are not in the right order.

Amityville 4 has been released on like four or five different crappy public domain-type discs. It's not hard to find one for five bucks or under. So I think it's just Curse that's not on dvd.

Amityville 1992 is one of those so bad it's good ones. Case in point:

Amityville Dollhouse is, hands down, the absolute worst movie I've ever seen in my entire life. Bar none.
