Lemony Snicket's is 45% off at amazon.com!

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events the 1 disc version & the special 2 disc edition is 45% off at amazon.com! plus the price for the 2-disc set is 38.99 not 39.99...that brings it down to $21.44.

Jim Carrey was great in this one but the movie overall...i dunno was just OK....anyone pickin' this up?

I really liked the movie. Not sure if I would pick it up though. Probably used or in a trade though.

I thought about getting this for my daughter but at those prices I think the library's copy will do just fine.

I enjoyed the movie and planned to buy the DVD, but not at another $30-40 "I Heart Huckabees" price. Adding $10 to the price just for one extra disc isn't worth it for me.

At least we know where the studios are getting the $20 million to pay Carrey for his movies.

Thanks for the heads up! Just ordered one. $22 for a two-disc set isn't all that bad, especially for a movie that I enjoyed.

Considering I generally dislike Carrey's movies I'm going to rent this one first because it atleast looked interesting, more so than his usual drivel

Just checked www.costco.com They have the 2-disc version for $19.49. They show a list price of $29.99, which makes a lot more sense than $39.99.

Nice find, TOLEN! I was really wanting this 2disc set, but didn't wanna pay the $25.00 that most stores would probably be asking.. Thanks again!

You can get a discount equivalent to Pi/2 % if you use their A9 search engine enough. There are a few threads in the Store Forum on it and I think one in the Bargains Forum.

I'll consider it when it's $1.99 or less.
