Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Mork & Mindy

It airs Monday night 4/4 at 8 (Central time). Anybody planning to watch? I figure it can't be any worse than VH1's Michael Jackson movie, so I will probably check it out. It's not like there is anything else on at that time.

I might TIVO it just to see how well the guy does imitating Robin Williams. Also, you mentioned that there is nothing good to watch on Monday's...you, my friend, need to meet a man named Jack Bauer (24, Monday @9 on FOX)>

I just saw the promo for this. I had to blink my eyes and pinch myself.

Who'da thunk that set was a wild place to work.

Belushi's death made Robin turn his life around and get sober

Can you imagine a manic Robin Williams also doing coke??

Talk about your ADD patient!

Can somebody give me a little background on this Mork & Mindy? I'm a little too young to know Mork & Mindy, but are they related to Robin?

You have no idea!!

Here's an excerpt from Call Me Connie: An Autobiography of Conrad Janis

"It was 1 or 2 am, and as usual, I was in my dressing room doing a line of coke off a hooker's ass, when suddenly the door burst open with such force that the star on the door fell to the ground.
Pammy walked in --or rather, stormed in. She was outfitted entirely in a black leather. Spiked high-heel boots and a tight corset.
In one hand, she had an enormous purple dildo. In the other, a jar of vaseline.
She made me her bitch that night, and I never ruined another take by laughing at Robin for the rest of the season."

If one had to go, too bad it wasn't Williams that went first.

I am definitely going to watch it. I am currently in the middle of Season 1 with Netflix. I LOVED this show as a kid. I have enjoyed it watching it as an adult but I can see where a kid would be more into it.

M&M is one of the many shows that I loved as a kid that became unwatchable as an adult.

What the fuck is up with playing "Don't Fear the Reaper" during the commercials?

Kind of creepy...

24 is a great show, but I prefer to enjoy it all on DVD when the season sets hit.

I think the earlier seasons of Mork and Mindy are still enjoyable to watch, but I just don't think I can ever bring myself to watch the Jonathan Winters years again. They were intolerable when I was a kid!

If Robin Williams had died and Belushi lived, who would have played Patch Adams!

I watched bits & pieces. The guy who played Robin Williams was excellent, he even had Williams' normal speaking voice down.

The guy who played Garry Marshall was the same guy who played Jay Leno in The Late Shift.

I saw the ads for this. They managed to find a guy who looked and sounded nothing like Robin Williams. Might as well have put Morgan Freeman in the role, he would have been more convincing than this guy.

I agree...you can close your eyes and it is classic robin williams.

The caps on "garry marshall" did get on my nerves...all I could think of was There's Something About Mary.
