It was a good month.

Incredibles was the cream of the crop though.

Incredibles! even the cover is awesome. I'm also giving Finding Neverland the thumbs up I loved that movie.

My vote went to The Incredibles even though I haven't watched all of it. Also purchased Apollo 13 and Orgazmo.

How on earth is Kagemusha: Criterion Collection not in that poll? This thread should be called "best mainstream DVD" or "Favorite" DVD of March since its impossible for people to pic the "best" without buying literally every DVD that comes out.

Kagemusha gets my vote by a mile.

Kagemusha? Bless you.

I could have guessed the results of this month. I too voted for the Incredibles.

Haven't seen Kagemusha ... of course it just got released this week ... right? But agree with the sentiment only more so ...

More like "Best mainstream DVD including the all important double dip titles.

Take some of the double dip titles off (yawn) and then you have room for Kagemusha and L'Eclisse (which I'm working through now).

But, overall it was a darn good month with titles like Bambi and that obscure film The Incredibles.

Easily Kagemusha. I had never seen it before, but part of me wants to say that it's easily better than Ran. And the extras? the booklet? all top notch

L'Eclisse

I'm sure Kagemusha is a great DVD, but I'm not so keen on Kurosawa these days and that's not one of my favorite films of his at any rate.

Since the question is DVD, how can the answer not be the first fully anamorphic DVD put out? Besides, the movie is great, too. Incredibles.
