"I Dream of Jeannie" Question
How come Major Anthony Nelson and Major Roger Healey had different color uniforms?
Werent they in the same branch of the military? (NASA/Air Force?)
Roger always wore the green and Tony always wore the blue.
What gives?

well, if the question was about the color of lipstick the Majors wore, i found the answer:
What shades of lipstick and nail polish can female soldiers wear?
Females cannot wear extreme shades of lipstick and nail polish such as purple, gold, blue, and white. Leaders should give consideration to the undertones of the female skin. A single color is not acceptable for all females; for example, red may look good on one female but not another. (Army Regulation 670-1, paragraph 1-8b)

Is it possible that NASA was under multi-branch use and Nelson in the Airforce (blue) and Anthony in the Army (green)?

They were often on the same mission and partners in the same tasks. It just seemed odd that they would be from completely different branches working so closely together.
Military people-- is this normal?

I think it's really common for branches to work together. When I was in the army, I worked the same missions with navy personel (as well as ROK (but not katusa) soldiers).

Tony, why are our uniforms different colors?
Who cares, Rog. Check out the knobs on the babe that calls me "Master"!

Charlie Goose got it right. According to the I Dream Of Jeannie Website (http://www.idojweb.com/):
Why is Tony's uniform blue and Roger's uniform green?
Roger was in the Army Corps of Engineers, where the uniforms are green in color. Tony, however, was in the Air Force on detached service to NASA. So, his uniform was blue.
