what shows are you just about to give up on?

so, what shows are you starting to grow tired off? do you have a show that is stuck in a rut that doesn't seem to be going anywhere? have a show that is just stupid now? are you losing interest in a show? etc.

I'm about to give up on Lost. I just can't seem to get into it anymore. not sure why.

also thinking about:

CSI
CSI:NY
Summerland (just have to convince the mrs.)
King of the Hill

there are prob. about 10 more that I could add to the list easily too. I think in a whole I've reached tv burnout. I grow tired of watching new shows that only end up being cancelled as well as watching long running shows that just don't cut it anymore. going through this little gap of mostly reruns has been quite an enjoyment for me since I've actually been able to sit back and watch some DVDs and play with my PSP.

I've got a bunch of Battlestar Galactica eps sitting on my Tivo, but I just haven't felt compelled to watch them yet. Same with Law & Order - I don't have a problem with either Thompson or Farina on the show (and haven't watched enough of the new assistant DA to have an opinion), but for some reason this year I'm just not as interested.

Just?

Anyway, I've been skipping episodes of Crossing Jordan, Las Vegas and Medium of late and not feeling like I'm missing anything. I think I'm going to keep up this habit.

I have pretty much given up on Crossing Jordan and That 70's Show. I've only seen a few eps of each all season long.

while this last episode was weak, i think this years eps have been better than the last few years. I really like neela, i think she is great, and the fact that it seems like the newer residents are getting more time; Making the peope who have been there for so long not have to carry the show and not become as boring as they have been.
Plus, velma is so hot...

Cold Case....I find myself watching this for the music only...
Criminal Intent and CSI: Miami...the overacting of the main characters make both of this a little painful, though I'm still tuning in for the stories...

And this pains me to say it, but episodes of Arrested Development have been gathering on the Tivo. I enjoy it when I get around to watching them, but I just never find myself in the mood to watch them

ER has been this way for years. It's just that now that the writers are just about bereft of new ideas their agendas are more blatant than ever, and in many cases substitute for even any attempt at a plot.

Done with The Apprentice. Trump went too far firing Erin for such a stupid, spontaneous reason and Carolyn's witchiness is too over the top for me now.

nothing really, I dropped CSI:NY after 5 eps. Dropped 24 after 4 eps of season 1.

And the only thing piled up on the Tivo is Monk, so its the most likely to be dropped.

I watch mostly documentary programming, but of the fiction shows I am very close to bailing on "Monk". It was mildly amusing and imaginative for part of the first season; now the OCD is an irritating, oft-forgotten gimmick, and the show doesn't have one sympathetic character.

A few of you reminded about Smallville. I've been close to dropping that several times over the last two seasons.

OC, hands down

I worshipped this show last season. Completely disappointed this season. Reminds me of Dark Angel with how far it dropped off after the first season.

The one show left that I watch every week unless it's a repeat: Smallville. And it's on it's way out. I've missed an ep or two this season. And the last few I've had on more as background. I find myself doing other things while watching.

I'm not sure what it is, but I just don't find tv shows that I like much anymore. I'll watch episodes here and there, but nothing's grabbed me enough to make me want to tune in each week.

Got tired of the left wing liberal bias of ER and West Wing a while ago.

I've been so close on Law & Order for about 3 years now. SVU and TBJ are so much better.

JAG is a show that I simply FF through for the personal stories. They almost completely written Harm out of the show.

I gave up on Charmed earlier this year. Just got tired of it; even seeing Alyssa Milano on a weekly basis couldn't keep me interested.

I am getting close on That 70s Show and King of Queens. These shows are just not funny anymore.

I watched last week's That 70's Show last night, and I don't think I laughed once. Time for me to pull the plug. Las Vegas has lost its luster to me. It was always pretty much strictly eye-candy. Now I've missed so many episodes that I don't even really think about it anymore.

I never really got started with Tilt. I watched the first episode, and the rest are sitting on Tivo.

Otherwise, I don't have a lot of stuff I watch out of habit. I still enjoy ER, West Wing, 24 and the rest of my season passes.
