South Park Season 5..worth it??

I am a big south park fan, I do not have any of the previous seasons on dvd, but I remember it started getting good around season 5. Is this DVD purchase a worthy one?

YES!!!

If you're a big South Park fan, you should have all the seasons. Best Buy will probably have another good deal when Season 6 comes out.

I just picked up all five seasons when season five was released, and I'm getting a real kick out of them. I'd say go for it.

Speaking of which, have the seasons been coming out every 'x' amount of months? In other words, when can we expect season six?

Probably not until Fall/Winter. Usually they'd have an announcement already, but nothing yet.

6-8 months between releases.

Season 1: 11/12/02
Season 2: 6/3/03
Season 3: 12/16/03
Season 4: 6/29/04
Season 5: 2/22/05

Personally, I don't understand why they can't get them out faster but hey, at least they're being released period.

No offense, but if you were a big fan, you would not have to ask. A casual fan would be one that owns only the seasons that interest them. A big fan would own them all.

Well, they have other projects (including Team America:World Police) they're working on so the commentaries might hold them up a little. Oh and they're still making new episodes!

Here, here! What is this silliness? Season 4 was awesome too! If you start with season 5 you get to see Kenny finally die - and BUTTERS but what about

The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka (S2)
Cat Orgy (S3)
The Tooth Fairy Tats 2000 (S4)
Weight Gain 4000 (S1)
Cow Days (S2)
Something You Can Do With Your Finger (S4)
Chinpokomon (S3)
Fourth Grade (S4)

I mean COME ON!!!!

Id call myself a casual fan. I wasnt too sure about buying this set, but damn if I didnt want Towlie and Cripple Fight. So for $21, I couldnt go wrong. However, I do think the seasons went down after 5th season and at the most, I only like about 2 episodes per season (in the following ones).
