Has Anyone Found The Man Called Flintstone?

I know this has been asked all ready. But I was wondering if anyone has found it today. I looked all over, Borders claims it can be ordered and that it was released in December (original release) but none were in the store.

BestBuy.com claims it doesn't exist, but a few weeks ago it said it did exist.

I had my copy since it's original December date. It was delayed until March 22 (today). Should be copies available.

I looked at 3 Best Buys, a Borders, a Wal-Mart, a Circuit City and a Coconuts with no luck

The title was pulled, but some copies apparently still made it out.

I've heard that Wal-Mart is your best bet, but not in the kids' area like you'd expect. Try New Releases. I'm going to look at my local superstore tomorrow if I get the time.

I'm happy to report this DVD does exist. Many e-tailers pulled it and I have yet to find a BM store have it, but i got in on ebay and its the official Warner release.

For those of you who haven't seen it, you really should. Its a great film that seems to have been lost. It was a threatrical release with all the original Flintstone talent.

FWIW, I just had one delivered today from BestBuy.com (14.99 + 1.49 S&H). I wanted it way back then... was just looking around earlier this week, saw it still listed, took a chance & ordered it.

This has been one of the more strangly unobtainable DVDs I've ever had on my want-list. Guess it's time to start checking around for it again.

Warner had to pull it because they don't have clear rights to it, in the U.S. anyway. The movie was originally released by Columbia Pictures.
