KCRW question
Awhile ago, I was listening to this on the internet and someone was reciting a poem, that had a number of expletives. My question actually deals with the music and specifically if they play songs that have the occassional profanity unedited or cleaned up. With the FCC currently being hard-asses, I was wondering what their policy was on this subject. (I remember when HFS did Sunday acoustic performances and was quite shocked but pleased that HFS didn't edit out the "fucks" from a Violent Femmes session.)

KCRW is Santa Monica College's radio station and it's Public Radio IIRC. I think they slide under the radar of the FCC and people who listen to them are probably not willing to get the ball rolling in terms of silly complaints.
Also, and probably more to your point....AT THIS TIME, material on the NET doesn't have to edit language. I remember in the early days of knac.com even the DJ's would say what they wanted including swearing.
