i hope the moderator stick this thread & let be our resource for the special limited-time offers they apply on some new DVDz.the 2$-3$-5$ offers.

i'll start with:

-Kinsey (Two-Disc Special Edition)+Sideways (Widescreen Edition)= additional $3 off= 40.98$.

-Star Wars Trilogy (Widescreen Edition)+Star Wars - Clone Wars, Vol. 1=additional $5 off= 54.48$.

don't they always have these? like when you click on an item, it will say also purchase "suchandsuch" and save $$$ or whatever?

It's kinda scary that's a good deal.
Still trying to figure out why the heck Kinsey has a MSRP of $35!

Usually I find it pairing two DVDs together without giving an additional discount. It's more rare to find them pairing two DVDs together for extra money off.

Thanks for the post!

Video Business mag shows a two-disc w/$24.95 MAP and $34.98 SRP. I've forgotten what MAP stands for.

The single-disc is $19.95 MAP and $27.98 SRP.

yeah, I see what you mean. I wonder which items will combine for extra discounts or whether there is anything that makes amazon worth shopping from again (rip stl)

MAP = Minimum Advertised Price. Which should be fairly easy to decipher (and which is the reason why many DVDs in ads say "Low Price" rather than giving a price)

they've been doing this for 4 or 5 months now..at least..a lot of folks got $5 off when the new Leon and Fifth Element discs came out...combined with STL made it a good deal.. STL
