I do (at least a little bit) but does anyone else?
Incidentally, it's quite good if anyone is interested.

I kinda care! I got their first cd when they were opening for matchbox twenty on tour,(got to meet them as well) right before 'hanging by a moment' became huge- and I love their first cd. I eagerly picked up their second album and honestly have to say I only listened to it a couple of times...just never got into it...didn't really think the first single was that great. I had read about them in a Christian music magazine over the summer where they said the band had basically gone their own ways and Jason was pretty much the only one left but was working on stuff. Then just about a month ago I heard the radio say 'and this is the new lifehouse song' and I was like ?????
So yeah, I'm kinda excited - I hope its good and I look forward to it, they are talented.

Cannot WAIT to pick it up tomorrow. Despite what everyone else has said about them, I have both albums plus all the b-sides. Still looking for a CD copy of the Blyss cd.
Here's hoping they do a tour to support this! Did see them while promoting the last album and was really impressed. I totally forgot that the first time I saw them was opening for MB20.

I liked their first two albums, thought the second was actually better than the first, but so far, judging by the single, i'm disappointed that it's just "more of the same"...and not in a good way... if reviews are pretty good or if I can hear more of it before I plunk down some cash, I may pick it up.

What's the Blyss CD?

What's the Blyss CD?
Blyss was the name of the group before they were Lifehouse. Apparently the original cd was only sold at shows and contains original demos for some songs including Fairytales and Sandcastles.

I'm interested, I own and enjoy their first two. But the new single and album cover are really not doing it for me...I'm gonna wait a bit. There are two new musicians though right? So it could be different - hopefully for the better.

Where'd you come upon these?

I care! I heard the single on somebody's office radio the other day and was kinda "meh" about it. But then I found a stream of the entire album, and it's better than the single. It's the type of CD I'll throw in the player and just listen to the whole thing as good background music. Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow.

Wasn't this one of those groups that was being pushed as the "next big thing?" Guess that didn't work out for them very well.

I've always like the song Sick Cycle Carosel. I wish they wrote more like it.

my brother was wondering if any tour is in plans?

No tour plans as of yet. I'd just keep watching their website. I saw them initially when they opened for MB20 and once here in NYC and they put on a very good show. Luckily it was a small club and I got to see them up close.

i know there's a 14 track version floating around (it was mentioned on the radio as well), but the one I bought at the store only has 12. however, it is listed as "enhanced", so I'm wondering if they are hidden tracks. can anybody clear this up? i'm not going to open mine until i figure it out though.

I've already had to re-buy it. Accidentally scratched the shit out of my first copy. :) At least I got it while it was still $10. Can't get it out of my cd player and still listening to it right now.
As far as the other version, the import version has "Today" and "Along The Way" as bonus tracks. You won't find a domestic version with them. The other albums (I believe) both had B-sides on their import versions. The same ones were included on the cd singles.

Again, see my above post. Nothing here in the states. Only elsewhere. Some places might be considering the live version and video version of "you and me" on the extras portion as 2 extra songs. I know amazon did earlier.
Btw...STILL can't get it out of my CD player. Totally loving it.

I really think the only guy with any talent whatsoever in this band in the lead singer / guitarist. Good to see that he's loyal to his friends, but I think he should really work some real musicians.

I actually liked the new bass player. He did a version of Rebel Rebel that was pretty good. They rocked out...i thought. Have you ever seen them live??

Only on awards shows and the like. But I have all the albums.
I saw one live performance that really stuck out - they might have been on Ellen and played Spin acoustically, and it was really, really good.
They don't do anything special, but what they do, they do well.
