I was going to show off my DVD player and want to show different clips from different DVD's that have great demo worthy transfers. The scenes should not last longer than 4 minutes or so. What would be great demo scenes?

I know demo scenes have been discussed numerous times here, use the search function to find the threads. You could also try avsforum, they have a running sticky thread about "reference" dvd movies...

Check this thread (http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=403560) out for high quality DVDs. I'm sure this will give you a decent list and you can pick out whichever scenes you like.

Not sure if you looking for overall great quality or great quality of an older movie.
