What's Toy Story: The Ultimate Toy Box R1 Used, Worth?

Just wondering how much a used, mint region 1 copy of this is worth, would love to own one, anyone know?

There are a lot of bootlegs, and other regions of this on ebay, hard to see what its really worth in the completed section..

Also, any word of toy story 1 and 2 to be released on dvd again ever?

From what I've heard about pixar and disney not really getting alone very much, I'd say no. I've heard rumors that incredibles was the last pixar/disney title.

I paid $70 for the Ultimate Toy Box used, and I think it was worth every penny. That will probably the cheapest you can find it, since it sold for $50 in stores.

Also, Toy Story 3 is in the works - on Disney's dime and time, no less. Pixar will have nothing to do with the release - Toy Story 3 is all Disney.

Honestly, I'm not sure if TS3 will be direct to video or not; neither would surprise me much.

Also, check out the Toy Box in the DVDProfiler link in my sig. My digital camera is busted right now, but search for some old threads for how to tell the Ultimate Toy Box (official) from its bootleg offspring - pretty helpful stuff.

also note that this site has a trading forum...disneyguy had one for sell at 85 bucks... I think 70-180 is about the going rate.

for more info on Toy Story 3 and Toy Story 4 check out this thread

on ebay, most of the boots are clearly labled (they always say "this is the same as the region 1 release with the exception of asian markings)

Actually, I believe Cars will be the final Pixar/Disney title.

After doing some surfing I read this, too.

Wonder how well Disney will do with Toy Story 3+ without the help of Pixar's crack animation/writing team. Wonder how well Pixar will do without the Disney juggernaut advertising their products, or drawing in the big name players as voicing. Seems like they need eachother, and Disney is just too greedy to acknowledge it. Merely using the names of blockbusters that were 50+% Pixar.

Cars is the final Disney Pixar collaberation...Not sure if they will get hanks/allen back....However Disney has been Tim Allen's bread and butter, so who knows... hope it doesn't happen at all...we'll see

I think Pixar has outgrown the need for Disney. People know Pixar quality and they'll still be able to draw the big names. I'm pretty sure Pixar has made more than enough money to not need the Disney juggernaut, and any studio worth their salt will be more than happy to distribute their films for them.

I'm sure it will be released on HD-DVD, although it would be interesting to see what extra's they will include.

I have a store-bought, factory sealed copy that I never got around to opening/watching. Any idea how much it's worth?

That is the key. Will they ever release the extra dvd that is in the Ultimate Toy Box. I finally broke down and bought this set on ebay. I paid more than I wanted to, but I did a lot of research with the seller who was selling a copy that her son had that did not want anymore. The set is awesome now that I own it. I haven't had a chance to see all the extras since I just got it this week.

Kornboy, all I can say is expect to pay anywhere around $85 to about $105. That is what I noticed they were going for.

A good auction will fetch around 160. A good buyer can catch a new one for around 100-120

You can easily get 100. I would say it the auction goes well, about 130. Heck this is one on there right now at 108 and 2 days left. Sealed copies sell for more.

Can anyone tell me if the deluxe version of the toy story laserdisk is worth buying for 12 dollars. I have it on reserve at a store but don't have a laserdisk player. So Is there any demand for this? It had a nice book in it and character drawings which I liked.

Too bad I don't have a laserdisk player. I guess 12.00 dollars I can handle. It would have been nice if it was the ultimate toy box dvd set. I didn't see any listings on ebay for it. thanks for the infor robertcop34
