Are shows thinking of DVD when leasing music rights now?
Now that most of the good/popular TV is making its way to DVD are they concentrating more on liscencing rights, so they get to use the original music from the show for the DVDs?

I would hope so, but I wouldn't count on it. I think I remember reading a review for Las Vegas Season 1 on DVD which said they subsituted the theme song! for something different on the DVDs.
