DVD Talk review of 'Kekko Kamen'
I read Don Houston's DVD review of Kekko Kamen at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=14718 and...
Can someone familiar with the series write a review?? I'd like less synopsis and more info on how well the material was treated on DVD. This was one of my favorite silly anime shows for years. I had to track down the VHSs of this ages ago and patiently wait for the DVD release. Maybe there's a little bit of 'you had to be there' with this one in that if you're just now watching it for the first time given all the crazy anime that has been released since this one originally came out, you aren't going to be impressed. I thought it was hilarious.

I'm curious as to what you liked about it though; was it the Nazi symbolism, the repeated rape of the juvenile, or the naked heroine whipping the antagonists before spreading her legs for them? This was truly a case of "different strokes for different folks" to me.

The anime was cool, but just wait until Media Blasters releases the live action KEKKO KAMEN series (no confirmed release dates yet, but they picked up the US rights). Those are even better (well, in a silly/funny kind of way, chock full of nudity)
