VAGUE, thread titles, SUCK!!!
The reason you can't play the DVDs is because they are in the PAL video format, which is used in the UK and many other countries. The U.S. uses the NTSC system.
Check www.videohelp.com to see if there is a hack for your player.
Also, in addition to the vague thread title, capitalizing every word in your post makes it a pain in the ass to read.
EDITED TO ADD: I checked the Web site for you. It looks like there isn't a hack that will enable you DVD player to convert PAL to NTSC.

Step one: edit your thread title to properly represent the content.
Step two: go buy yourself a Philips 642 from a local B&M store. You should be able to find it for about $60 or so, and it will play your Region 0 PAL DVDs flawlessly, as well as a few other formats.

Actually, my 642 plays DTS just fine.
P.S. Although I think this is dependant on your receiver/amp accepting the signal.

Samsung:
no way to get it region free.
a note about the RCA player. on that link I posted, several people have said that the RCA does not do the PAL to NTSC conversion correctly.

Phillips 642 vs. Cyberhome DVD300
Hi, thanks for all of the advice!! Today is the day I can decide, Im off from work!! Alot of info out there , sometimes confusing!!
I looked in "Videohelp" for the Phillips 642 and there is no hack posted!
Why is this?? Is it region free out of the box?? Idont have to do anything to it?
My options are:
Phillips 642 or Cyberhome DVD300 or one that they advertise here its called
IDB-2000, and its going for $125.00.(never heard this brand)
Which one would you guys get and why ????
By the way, I tried the hack on my RCA 5220P , and it didnt work, at least it doesnt play still my dvds from europe.
Any insight, advice or info on this, Today is the day !!!!!!
thanks alot, and thanks DVDTalk
