I/You will go see ANY movie if (blank) is in it?

Actor/Actress that you love so much that you look forward to seeing them in anything and even don't mind seeing them in stinkers, because just having them in it elevates the experience to, at least, bearable for you.

Kirsten Dunst (my wife has already told me that if I am ever a millionaire that I can take her on as my lover!)
Maggie Gyllenhaal
Dakota Fanning (I love Hide and Seek AND I Am Sam, which proves my point)
Zooey Deschanel
Kate Winslet
Nicole Kidman (Only her presence kept The Stepford Wives from causing me to hang myself)
Sarah Polley (I think she's the best actress that "no one" really knows)
Jena Malone
Samantha Mathis (loyalty from Pump Up The Volume, but she's not in much these days, but didn't stop me from buying Mermaid and Jack & Sarah)

Getting there, but not quite:Radha Mitchell (her appearance in Finding Neverland was a bonus!) and Naomi Watts.

I don't think one actor, all by himself, would get me to excited to see something, but I always enjoy Tom Hanks and Johnny Depp.

Natalie Portman, Alexis Bledel, Jena Malone, Zooey Deschanel, oy yay!

So, have you watched Eulogy? Hilarious!

Anyways, as for actors ... Jude Law, and now Zach Braff. That's about it.

Anything with Bill Murray or Nicole Kidman does it for me.

Gael Garcia Bernal. I love this guy and cannot wait for him to get the recognition that he deserves.

I will also watch any film by PTAnderson and David Gordon Green.

She looked great in The Punisher. I always think of PUTV when I see her. When that one movie she was in with River Phoenix & Sandra Bullock (something about country music) comes on, I always wind up watching it. I don't look for movies with her, but I always enjoy her performances.

My List:
Johnny Depp
Halle Berry
Zhang Ziyi
Thandie Newton
Denzel Washington

And Christina Milian is putting in a bid to make it on that list.

Natalie Portman and Alexis are good choices. Natalie made the Star Wars films and I wouldn't see those if you paid me. Alexis will be interesting to watch because she needs to shake the image of being Rory. I've only seen her in Tuck Everlasting, which she was great in, but she was basically playing a version of Rory.

I did BUY Eulogy for Zooey and thought it was pretty good, but wonder how much of that has to do with the "lifting effect" I get when I see someone that I really admire in a movie.

Audrey Tautou is someone else I can forsee not wanting to miss a peformance from. I think she's doing a sequal to the Spanish Apartment and then a big budget film with Tom Hanks. I thought A Very Long Engagement was brilliant and was surprised it didn't get a bigger audience, especially after Amelie and that being made with the same director.

These are the actors that I actually look on the imdb and keep track of what they're doing. For example, Criminal will be a blind buy. I see Maggie in it and I'm ready to fork over the money and take my chances.

Will Ferrel or Jack Black. They need to do a staring movie together.

I don't know if I have seen every movie by some of my favorite actors, but there are movies I will pay close attention to and read about more if somebody is in it over somebody else. Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansen, Jim Carrey, Johnny Depp, and maybe a few more I am not thinking of.

I am not so much a person who chases after actors and all their movies, and even on my personal list above, I haven't seen all the films all those actors have starred in. I am more of a directors kind of collector and movie viewer. I will often see movies blind based on who directed them, not based on who starred in it.

I'll go to anything with Harrison Ford in it...despite the fact he hasn't made a good film since "The Fugitive".

I also never miss anything starring or directed by Clint Eastwood.

I can think of no actors that would qualify but I will see anything if it says "Directed by Steven Spielberg"...

yes, but you see are favs usually tie in to a good story because many we mentioned only pick roles with good stories and thus we will see them in it because it is them and it is a good story.

I haven't seen that movie in about 10 years. But I must have watched it at least 30 times back then and I have no idea where TC was. Which scene is he in? I'll have to pull out the old videotape and see if I can spot him.

Bad:

Jerry Maguire
Days of Thunder
Cocktail
Legend
Losin' It

A few that are kind of borderline:

The Last Samurai
Mission Impossible II
Far and Away
The Outsiders

Just my opinion.
