from dvdtimes...

1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen
English DD5.1 Surround
Spanish and Portuguese Stereo Surround
English, French, Portuguese and Spanish subtitles
Audio Commentary by Director David Gordon Green and Jamie Bell
"Under the Undertow" With Optional Introduction by Josh Lucas
Deleted Scenes
Animated Photo Gallery
Original Theatrical Trailer

they have artwork up at this link. and in my opinion it totally fucking SUCKS compared to the artwork for the theatrical release.

Thanks for the news Cygnet, was going to post to ask about this myself but got beat to it.. The artwork does definately suck compared to the poster.

I like alot what I have seen from DGG and Tim Orr (GW and All the Real Girls) so I will definately pre-order this from CH.

I was at Target last night and they had Undertow already on sale. They broke the street date by a couple of days. The dvd coverart is different from the poster posted above. Anyways, I highly recommend this small unseen film. The performances from the two sons are fantastic, epecially Jamie Bell. He is also great in Billy Elliot if anybody hasn't checked that great film also. Definately go and atleast rent this movie.

Yeah the official artwork is the same here:

I would have preferred the other one from the poster above, which is a little better since the real one is another MGM Photoshop stinker. But at least it has extras. People who've never heard of this would see it on the shelves and think it's some straight-to-dvd B-movie. Would have been more appropriate for the artwork of Without a Paddle.

I'm working on my DVD review of Undertow right now. It should be up here on DVD Talk before Tuesday.

Suffice to say, it's good. Very good.

I think I may pick this up from Columbia House. I'm hoping when the clock strikes midnight the movies won't be considered pre-orders anymore and I can add them to my funcash cart. This movie and Blade 3.

That is a fantastic review Scott Lecter. It is very complete and accurate. It seems like a lot of time and effort went into it. Thanks!
